Titleist 910 D3 Driver

 

The Titleist 910 D3 Driver delivers longer distance through a technologically advanced head design with a responsive, fast face insert that creates a ball-speed area that is 10% larger than other drivers. The patented, innovative, SureFit Tour dual-angle hosel provides precise and independent loft and lie adjustments to fine tune ball flight for more accuracy and control. High performance weighting and a sloped, ultra-thin crown design and an on-axis rear weight screw increases stability and creates a low and deep center of gravity for medium/high launch with medium/low spin.

 

This driver has a lower launch and spin that the Titleist D2. An interchangeable shaft connection and rear weight screw provide enhanced fitting options and the full pear-shaped profile has a a rich black, PVD and paint finish that instills confidence at the address. This driver has been acoustically engineered for a hot, solid sound and feel and will be the star of the course!

We tested: 9.5°, 10.5° with Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana Kai'li graphite shaft; 8.5°, 9.5° with Diamana 'ahina shaft

Key Technologies: Compact, 445cc head has a "fast" face insert to increase ball speed and distance. The patented "SureFit Tour" dual-angle hosel allows for independent loft and lie adjustments. The low, deep CG increases stability and provides medium launch with mid/low spin.

PROS
DISTANCE: Most find it as long or a bit longer than their own club.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Mis-hits get a decent amount of help, causing minimal distance loss.
FEEL: Balanced feel during swing leads to a soft yet crisp impact sensation.
PLAYABILITY: Offers very precise performance on well-struck shots; adjustable hosel makes it a friendly stick for shotmakers.
LOOK: Hard to beat its pear shape and appealing paint job.

 

CONS
Not as much feedback on off-center hits as some testers would like; sound at impact can be a bit dull.

  I've been through the Titleist line of drivers from the 905 R, 907s, 909s, and now have a 910 D3. The D3 is the smaller head of the D3/D3 choice.

  great feel off the tee, the ball flight is like no other club i have ever hit, this is my first titlest driver and i love it good bye callaway this club is great for shapeing shots along with a great off the face feel BEST DRIVER EVER
