Wenchong Liang was informed to participate in the game. And the formal invitation letter will be sent later. This means that Wenchong Liang would get on the last bus of this year's four Majors. This is also the fifth Grand Slam journey.


 The first Majors, played by Chinese well-known player Wenchong Liang, was PGA Championship held in American Southern Hills Country Club in 2007. He finished the two-round game with 7 over par for the first time to participating in Grand Slam and was just two shots away from the cut line.

 

After In 2007, he won APGA, in 2008, he took part in U.S. Masters and British Open as requested. He succeeded in rising in rank in British Open held in South Port Royal Bokedaier Club. Hence, he became the first Chinese player to upgrade in Grand Slam and at last shared 64th place.

 

In 2009, he again showed his face in British Open. In the stormy evil weather, he hit 149 with 9 over par and didn't realize the hope that entering into finals. This year, Wenchong Liang has chance to join in British Open again. The top four of Japan and the US Mizuno Open can acquire the qualification of British Open. But at the last round, Wenchong Liang performed not very well. At the final hole, he got three putts, swallowed bogey and was tied for fourth. In the end, Wenchong Liang felt very regreted for he didn't attain the qualification.

 

2010 US PGA Championship will be held in Whistling Straits from August 12 to 15. World First Tiger Woods has been affirmed to join in game. This will be the last chance to win Majors and to create breakthrough for Wenchong Liang.
