PING G10 Driver

 

The PING G10 Driver is the eagerly awaited follow up the market leading Ping G5 driver. Aimed at players at every skill level, it is engineered with a cast body and fully machined face from high-grade 6-4 titanium. The Ping G10 460cc club head features a larger profile with a taller face and deeper crown that produces a higher moment-of-inertia for greater forgiveness and increased ball velocity.

 

The design of the clubface features a steeper face and a deeper crown that produces a higher MOI. This is designed to give the golfer more forgiveness and increased ball velocity off the clubface. The clubhead has a black, glossy finish.

 

 

Using finite element analysis driven by a Cray Supercomputer, company engineers optimised the crown, sole and face structure interaction to ensure maximum energy transfer to the ball. Thinner crown and face designs provided discretionary weight which was positioned inside the club head to lower the centre of gravity for reduced spin and higher launch. The Ping patented variable face thickness technology produces a thin, highly responsive hitting surface for increased ball velocity and greater consistency across the face. Creative work by the design boffins at Ping has managed to push the limits of the Ping G10 driver 460 cc head, actually increasing the overall head size from the hugely successful Ping G5 range.

A: The Ping G10 Driver will come with the Ping TFC-129.

 

Q: Is there any way to get a head cover?

A: We have headcovers in stock free to you that will fit this club but they are not Ping covers.

  I tested this PING G10 Driver last week on the range, not bad but compared to the new tour burner had no distance. Nice coppery colour, great forgiveness. Not very good for high swing speed players
