Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver

 

The Diablo Edge is Callaway's latest effort to put easy-to-hit technology in the hands of your average golfer. The most obvious visual feature of the club is its shape which offers a pleasing blend of the traditional and the progressive. The overall silhouette offers improved aerodynamics that cuts down nearly 10% of the drag that can slow the clubhead speed of competing 460cc drivers.

 

The Diablo Edge Driver is designed to give golfers a distance advantage every time you tee it up, which offer superior face technology, a higher MOI, a deeper CG, and better aerodynamics — and it all adds up to the longest, most accurate all-titanium drivers Callaway Golf has ever made.

With the the use of Fused Titanium in a 4-piece modular design, it produces the most weight efficient all titanium driver we’ve ever created. Each part is precision-formed and accurately fused together, allowing weight to be positioned optimally, delivering distance-enhancing, penetrating ball flight.

A chemical reduction process selectively removes unwanted material from the face cup for precision thickness control, resulting in our most consistently high ball speeds ever. The new aerodynamic body shape reduces drag during the downswing up to 8%, creating faster impact speeds.

Callaway Core Technology: S2H2
Callaway's patented Short, Straight, Hollow, Hosel (S2H2) shortened the length of the hosel, allowing weight to be moved lower and to the more useful perimeter area of the clubhead. This bore-through design (Modified Tru-Bore Technology) allows the shaft tip to extend through the hosel and clubhead to the sole, improving feel and control by moving the tip of the shaft closer to the center of the clubface.

 

4-piece Fused Titanium Design

Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Face Cup
An acid chemical reduction process selectively removes unwanted material from the face cup for precision thickness control, resulting in our most consistently high ball speeds ever. And the strategic hyperbolic shaping of the face thickness dramatically improves impact efficiency and produces a larger effective hitting area--resulting in less disparity between the balls you hit in the center of the clubface and the balls you don't.

  Diablo is like its name hot. Callaway has always had great drivers but this the easy to hit and goes a long way. I feel very confident with this club. One thing though tee it up high your need to hit it on the top of the club face to get the best distance.

  Great feel and sound. Whenhit the sweet spot I can really feel it. Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is a great driver for beginners.

  Wow!! and Double Wow!! What a super fantastic club. I consider myself a bogey golfer. A half dozen or so pars for 18 holes, and even a birdie now and then. Like most golfers, I am always trying to find "that" club that will make a big difference in my play. Love this Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver very much!

  Used this club now for about 20 rounds and at first, I found it to be VERY straight but not so long. As I learned the club, I found it to be extremely controllable.
